Scan Head Optical Toolkit

 

Designed specifically for the Bio-Rad radiance series Scan head, the toolkit comprises an adapter to fit the Microscope Mount, an optical tube which allows the optics to be placed at the image plane of the Scan head, and 2 optical discs:  A graticule for calibration and alignment, and a flourescent disc.  The toolkit is used by  service engineers to calibrate and align scan heads in the field and also to identify if a problem lay in the scanhead or the microscope.

Jon Jamin Designs produced 90 of these toolkits for Bio-Rad.  The original commission was to design the toolkit and supply 30 at a kit price to include all design and tooling costs.
